Polska Chata Review

Y'all may remember about 9 months ago I did a post called "3 Best Places to Eat in Irondequoit."  Well, as of today all three of those places have full reviews on this site.  As a recap, they are Monte Alban (best Mexican food in Rochester area BY FAR), Ridge Donut Cafe (best doughnuts anywhere, ever), and today Polska Chata!

This place is amazing.  The ambiance is fantastic, and the staff is super friendly and personable.  Those up there are the pierogies.  They used to offer different options for the topping, but now it's just the onions.  Still awesome.  They're cooked in onions and butter.  This here is the potato/cheese version, and they are delightful.

We had other things, too, but I forgot to take pictures...sorry.  We were super hungry, so just believe me when I tell you the potato pancakes are delightful and the cabbage roll divine.  These here are the cheese blintzes and they were awesome.  They are the perfect dessert-like item, nice and crispy on the outside and soft in the center.  So, if you're in the mood for something a little different, head on over to Polska Chata.  Most meals are around $10, and this okapi gives it 4.5 stars!  Oh, and you can score a certificate to make it even lighter on your wallet.

  1. If you have about as good a chance of getting your child to brush her teeth than, say, having her do your taxes, you’re not alone. Parents just like you the world over have nightly battles about teeth brushing that extend beyond the bathroom into other aspects of control. | | | | |
